Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour day and night shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department and MedSurg Swing unit with a 1:4 ratio
Monitor telemetry strips, read rhythms, and titrate drips as needed for acute patients
Collaborate with charge nurse and interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient management
Float to ED holds and step into charge nurse role when required
Maintain BLS and ACLS certifications and adhere to evidence-based protocols
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to a diverse range of diagnoses

Qualifications

Current RN license in North Dakota or compact state (NLC)
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum one year of MedSurg experience
Experience with telemetry and titrating common IV drips
Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts and float between units

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
Titration of normal drips and emergency medications
ED and MedSurg acute care skills
Team collaboration, charge nurse experience, and effective communication
