Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM - 10:45 PM (evening shift, includes 30-minute meal break)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate daily care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Assist with meals and monitor nutritional intake to ensure well-being
Take vital signs and report changes in condition to nursing staff
Support mobility and transfer assistance with dignity and safety
Engage residents in meaningful activities and emotional support
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Maine
Ability to lift and transfer patients with or without accommodation
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
Strong communication and teamwork skills
BLS/CPR certification preferred
Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved exemption

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing assistant duties and infection control
Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Understanding of resident rights and confidentiality
