Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide continuous airway management for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients
• Manage and support ventilator and non-invasive ventilator therapies
• Consult with physicians to optimize respiratory care plans
• Perform CPR and respond to emergencies with confidence
• Deliver all aspects of respiratory care using advanced equipment like PB 980, PB 840, and V60 ventilators
• Chart accurately using computerized system and manage medications via Pyxis

Qualifications

• Active RRT certification required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• NRP certification preferred
• Must hold or be in process of obtaining Hawaii State Respiratory Therapist license
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• No first travel assignments accepted - experience matters here
• Proof of flu vaccination or approved exemption required

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in airway management and ventilator management
• Skilled in adult, pediatric, and neonatal respiratory care
• Proficient with PB 980, PB 840, V60, and Para Pac Transport Ventilators
• Comfortable with computerized charting and Pyxis medication systems
• Strong communication skills for physician consultation and teamwork
