Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Days, Nights, Weekends - rotating shifts including weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $35 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Receive and give report on residents' conditions to ensure continuity of care
Make rounds on each resident, assessing new residents and those with changes in condition
Document assessments per facility policy accurately and timely
Notify nurses of any changes in residents' conditions or current needs promptly
Assist with direct patient care and ensure call lights are answered promptly
Promote good working relationships with departments, coworkers, residents, families, and physicians

Qualifications

Must have an active California CNA license
Less than 1 year of experience welcome – training provided
Certifications: ACLS, BLS/BCLS, PALS, NRP, ATT required
Ability to work in a fast-paced skilled nursing environment

Knowledge & Skills

Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Strong patient care and compassion
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic setting
