Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night Shift, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts weekly (36 hours), no guarantee of hours

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide continuous airway management for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients
Manage ventilators and non-invasive ventilation support including PB 980, PB 840, and V60
Consult with physicians and collaborate on respiratory care plans
Perform CPR and respond to code situations
Utilize computerized charting and Pyxis medication management systems

Qualifications

Active Hawaii Respiratory Therapy License required before start
Minimum 2 years of recent respiratory therapy experience
BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required
RRT and NRP certifications strongly preferred
Must be comfortable caring for patients across all age groups

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in airway management and ventilator weaning
Proficient with PB 980, PB 840, and V60 ventilators
Experience with Para Pac transport ventilators
Strong communication skills for physician consultation and patient education
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced hospital environment
