Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating days and nights, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population in MedSurg and ED
Monitor and titrate IV drips as needed, ensuring patient safety
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary team for optimal outcomes
Float to ED holds and assist with charge nurse duties when required
Interpret telemetry strips and respond to changes in patient condition
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to unit protocols

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
Minimum one year of recent MedSurg experience
Ability to titrate drips and manage acute patients
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, small-town hospital environment

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Proficiency in telemetry interpretation
Flexibility to float between MedSurg and ED as needed
Time management and prioritization in a 12-hour shift setting
