Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare the operating room for CVOR procedures, ensuring all equipment and supplies are ready
Assist the surgical team by passing instruments, supplies, and equipment during surgery
Maintain sterile field and adhere to strict infection control protocols
Monitor and manage inventory of surgical instruments and supplies
Support patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process

Qualifications

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum 1 year of recent CVOR experience preferred
Strong knowledge of surgical instruments and sterile techniques

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in CVOR surgical procedures and techniques
Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
