Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled physical therapy to acute inpatient and outpatient patients with orthopedics, neurology, vestibular issues and falls risk
• Manage a daily caseload of approximately 8-10 patients while maintaining high-quality documentation in Cerner
• Perform clinical assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and progress interventions toward measurable goals
• Provide vestibular rehabilitation including BPPV assessment and treatment
• Collaborate with PTAs, nurses and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate safe, effective patient care
• Educate patients and families on home programs, fall prevention and recovery strategies
• Participate in department orientation and ongoing process improvements

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of clinical physical therapy experience
• BLS certification required
• Experience using EMR systems; Cerner experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work in both acute inpatient and outpatient settings
• Comfort supervising and collaborating with PTAs and rehab aides
• Strong clinical reasoning, documentation and communication skills

Education

• DPT (Doctor of Physical Therapy) or equivalent degree preferred
• State Physical Therapist license as required for practice

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with Cerner or similar EMR platforms
• Clinical expertise in orthopedics, neurology and vestibular rehabilitation
• Skilled in BPPV assessment and treatment
• Falls risk assessment and management
• Experience managing 8-10 patient caseloads efficiently and safely
• Interdisciplinary teamwork and strong patient education skills
