Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Assist residents with mobility, bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
• Take and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care
• Support safe, clean, and comfortable environments for residents
• Communicate effectively with nurses, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Help promote residents’ dignity, independence, and emotional well-being

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively with the care team
• Reliable, compassionate attitude with strong patient-focused skills
• Willingness to complete facility-required background checks and immunizations

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; CNA training and certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing care and resident assistance
• Comfortable with activities of daily living (ADLs) support
• Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
• Basic charting and documentation skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Good time management and prioritization in a fast-paced setting
