Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: PCT shift, 5-hour shift (specific start/end times and days not provided)

Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting) with dignity and respect
Monitor and document vital signs and patient observations accurately
Support nursing staff by reporting changes in patient condition promptly
Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients
Assist with patient transfers, mobility, and positioning following facility protocols
Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and the care team

Qualifications

Current CNA certification or Patient Care Technician certification preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable working in a skilled nursing environment and supporting patients with complex needs
Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to follow directions and document care
Professional, reliable, and compassionate approach to patient care

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; CNA or PCT certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in basic patient care techniques and infection control practices
Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
Familiarity with patient safety practices and mobility assistance
Comfortable using electronic medical records or paper charting
Strong observational skills and the ability to escalate concerns appropriately
