Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, mobility) with dignity and care
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
Support nursing staff with direct patient care tasks and admissions/discharges
Maintain a safe, clean environment by following infection control and safety protocols
Document patient interactions and observations clearly in the chart or EHR
Communicate compassionately with patients and families, ensuring comfort and understanding
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to help deliver excellent patient outcomes

Qualifications

CNA or PCT certification preferred; equivalent patient care experience welcome
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred or obtained upon hire
Previous experience in acute care, rehab, or long-term care is a plus
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; reliability and a team-first attitude
Ability to follow policies, maintain patient confidentiality, and perform physical aspects of care

Education

High school diploma or GED required; CNA/PCT certificate preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable taking and interpreting vital signs and basic clinical measurements
Knowledge of infection control and patient safety practices
Basic charting and documentation skills; familiarity with EHRs is helpful
Ability to assist with patient transfers and mobility using safe body mechanics
Compassionate bedside manner and strong observational skills
