Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely by oral, injection, or inhalation routes
• Operate SPECT/CT and related imaging equipment to acquire diagnostic images
• Position patients carefully and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation
• Process and produce high-quality computer-generated images for physician interpretation
• Maintain detailed records of radiopharmaceutical usage and procedural documentation
• Follow strict radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff
• Use Radiant Epic access to document and manage imaging workflows
• Stay current with advances in nuclear medicine and contribute to quality patient care

Qualifications

• NH license and certification to practice nuclear medicine (required)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification (required)
• Experience preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals
• Proficiency with SPECT/CT imaging and image processing
• Radiation safety knowledge and adherence to safety protocols
• Radiant Epic system experience preferred
• 1 year of relevant experience preferred (equivalent education/experience considered)

Education

• Certification to practice Nuclear Medicine Technology
• NH state license to practice nuclear medicine (required)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Radiopharmaceutical preparation and administration
• Imaging equipment operation (SPECT/CT) and image processing
• Radiation safety practices and compliance
• Patient care, positioning, and communication skills
• Strong computer skills and attention to documentation detail
