Roles & Responsibilities

Assist clinicians in ambulatory care by preparing patients and rooms
Obtain and document vitals, medical history, and basic clinical data
Support patient flow by rooming patients and coordinating next steps
Perform point-of-care testing and basic clinical procedures as trained
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with charting
Communicate clearly with patients to provide a positive care experience
Participate in orientation and ongoing team huddles to improve care

Qualifications

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
Previous ambulatory or clinic experience is a plus
Comfortable with basic clinical procedures and vital sign collection
Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements
Patient-focused attitude and strong communication skills

Education

High school diploma or GED required; Medical Assistant certificate or diploma preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical skills for ambulatory settings including vitals and specimen collection
Familiarity with electronic health records or willingness to learn
Excellent patient communication and customer service
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Teamwork mindset and ability to adapt in a fast-paced clinic
