Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care as an LNA, supporting daily living activities
- Assist the nursing team with bathing, feeding, mobility and toileting needs
- Measure and record vital signs and report any changes to the RN
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control protocols
- Document patient care accurately and communicate effectively with the care team
- Participate in orientation and training to ensure excellent, consistent care
Qualifications
- Current LNA certification (primary skill listed in the posting)
- Willingness and ability to work 12.5-hour shifts and attend required orientation
- Demonstrated teamwork and clear communication skills
- Comfort working in an acute/clinical care setting (Cottage Hospital)
Knowledge & Skills
- Fundamentals of patient care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observations
- Infection prevention and safety-minded practices
- Strong verbal communication and teamwork
- Reliable documentation and time-management habits
