Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, safe, and efficient nursing care to residents and patients
- Administer medications and treatments accurately following policies
- Monitor and document patient status, reporting changes promptly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care plans
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges in a professional manner
- Educate patients and families on care plans and follow-up needs
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in Pennsylvania (required)
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work well on a team
Education
- Completion of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program (diploma or certificate)
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and accurate documentation
- Vital signs, wound care basics, and infection control practices
- Electronic medical record (EMR) charting familiarity
- Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Patient-centered care and clear communication with families
