Contract Type: Per-Diem

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents and patients
Administer medications and treatments accurately and document accordingly
Perform routine assessments and monitor vital signs, reporting changes promptly
Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
Maintain clear, timely documentation in the patient record
Follow infection control policies and safety protocols to protect residents
Educate residents and families about care plans and day-to-day needs

Qualifications

Active LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license — Pennsylvania license preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills
Comfort with electronic health records or ability to learn EHR systems
Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred but not required

Education

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN/PN)
High school diploma or GED required

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and documentation best practices
Basic wound care and dressing changes
Resident assessment and monitoring of vital signs
Time management and prioritization in a busy care setting
Strong interpersonal skills for working with residents, families, and team members
