Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care consistent with LPN scope of practice
Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
Monitor patient status, recognize changes, and escalate concerns to RN/MD promptly
Collaborate with the care team to implement individualized care plans
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and handoffs
Support patients and families with clear communication and emotional support
Adhere to facility policies, infection control standards, and safety procedures

Qualifications

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Georgia (required)
Completion of an accredited LPN program or equivalent practical nursing education
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
Comfort working 12.5-hour clinical shifts and providing direct patient care
Strong teamwork, communication skills, and a patient-first attitude

Education

Completion of an accredited LPN/practical nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Proven skills in medication administration and wound care
Ability to perform routine assessments and recognize clinical changes
Competence with electronic medical records and clinical documentation
Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced healthcare setting
Professional bedside manner and effective interpersonal skills
