Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients within scope of LPN practice
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Monitor patient status, report changes to the care team, and escalate concerns promptly
• Assist with activities of daily living and promote patient comfort and safety
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care
• Maintain accurate, timely charting and follow facility policies and procedures
• Support a positive patient experience through clear communication and professionalism

Qualifications

• Current, active LPN license in the state of Georgia (or eligible for licensure)
• Recent clinical experience preferred; experience in long-term care or acute care a plus
• Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to work 12.5-hour shifts and participate in team handoffs
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude

Education

• Vocational nursing diploma or equivalent LPN program completion

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing principles, medication administration, and care planning
• Skill in patient assessment, vital signs monitoring, and documentation
• Familiarity with infection control practices and safety protocols
• Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask in a busy environment, and work collaboratively
• Comfort using electronic health records and following clinical workflows
