Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes promptly to nursing staff
• Assist with activities of daily living to promote patient dignity and comfort
• Support safe transfers and maintain fall prevention practices
• Document care accurately in the patient chart and communicate handoff details
• Collaborate with nurses and care team to ensure timely, coordinated care

Qualifications

• Current and valid CNA certification in California
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Comfortable working overnight shifts and supporting a diverse patient population
• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow facility policies and infection control protocols
• Previous experience in long-term care or acute care settings a plus

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care skills and hands-on experience with ADLs
• Ability to take and accurately record vital signs
• Good communication and teamwork with nursing staff and other caregivers
• Familiarity with basic documentation and charting practices
• Awareness of infection control, safety, and patient privacy regulations
