Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging across a variety of adult acute care settings, including ED and ICU
• Prepare for and safely administer contrast media, monitoring patients and documenting appropriately
• Start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture as needed for imaging procedures
• Operate GE CT scanners and PACS, ensuring studies are captured and routed correctly
• Support trauma and emergent imaging needs at a Level III trauma facility with calm, decisive care
• Execute advanced post-processing tasks (3D rendering, MPR, ROI measurements) for diagnostic clarity
• Document procedures and patient care in Epic accurately and promptly

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification (preferred/required as noted)
• BLS certification
• Oregon OBMI registration required prior to start
• Minimum 1 year of direct patient care within the last year
• Minimum Level III trauma hospital experience
• Travel experience required (hardstop)
• Epic charting experience (hardstop)
• Experience with GE CT scanners and PACS (hardstop)

Knowledge & Skills

• CT imaging and contrast administration
• Peripheral IV starts and venipuncture
• Radiation safety and infection control/PPE
• Epic charting and PACS workflow
• Image display and post-processing: 3D rendering, MPR, ROI
• Special procedures familiarity: vascular CTA, myelography, CT arthrography, biopsies, aspirations
• Trauma imaging protocols and acute care workflows
