Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (exact start/end times and specific days to be confirmed with facility)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs and resident conditions accurately and promptly
Communicate observations and changes in resident status to nursing staff and supervisors
Assist with safe transfers, ambulation and positioning to promote mobility and dignity
Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans consistently
Support a clean and safe environment by following infection control and safety protocols
Work collaboratively with the care team to deliver resident-centered care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Prior experience in a long term care or skilled nursing setting is a plus
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
Ability to pass required background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; completion of an approved CNA training program required

Knowledge & Skills

Proven ability to assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing and feeding
Competent in taking and recording vital signs
Basic clinical documentation and charting skills
Understanding of infection control and safety procedures
Teamwork, time management and reliable attendance
Compassionate bedside manner and resident advocacy
