Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Support patient mobility, transfers, and safe positioning with attention to dignity
Monitor and document resident condition, reporting changes promptly to nursing staff
Assist with meal service, feeding, and ensuring hydration needs are met
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
Collaborate with the care team to implement individualized care plans
Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through respectful communication

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (active and in good standing)
Proof of completion of an approved CNA program
Comfortable working 8-hour shifts in a skilled nursing setting
Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
Ability to pass background checks and required facility screenings

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of state-approved CNA training program and current certification

Knowledge & Skills

Competence in activities of daily living (ADLs) and basic patient care
Understanding of infection control and safety procedures
Accurate documentation and charting skills
Effective communication and teamwork within a clinical setting
Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
