Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shifts; exact start/end times and days vary by facility schedule and will be provided during interview/on offer

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents with dignity and respect
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Take and record vital signs and communicate changes to the nursing team
Support safe transfers and positioning to reduce risk of injury
Help create a warm, therapeutic environment that promotes comfort
Document care accurately and timely in residents records
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team to meet care goals

Qualifications

Current CNA certification and active registry in Pennsylvania
Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
Reliable attendance and ability to work scheduled shifts
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings is a plus

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completed CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and infection control practices
Taking and documenting vital signs accurately
Safe resident handling and transfer techniques
Familiarity with electronic or paper charting systems
Teamwork, time management, and observational skills
