Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs and changes in patient condition accurately
Assist nursing staff with treatments and procedures as directed
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices
Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team to support continuity of care
Document patient care and observations thoroughly and timely

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (or eligible to obtain) — Georgia certification preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Compassionate patient-focused attitude and strong communication skills
Ability to pass facility-required background checks and screenings

Education

High school diploma or GED required; completion of a state-approved CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care fundamentals and ADL assistance
Taking and documenting vital signs accurately
Basic infection control and safety practices
Effective communication and teamwork in a fast-paced clinical setting
Time management and dependable attendance
