Shift Type: Rotating 12.5-hour acute care shifts; specific start/end times and days not provided

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $27 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care in an acute care environment
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Monitor and document vital signs and patient conditions accurately
Communicate changes in patient status promptly to the nursing team
Support safe patient transfers and positioning with proper body mechanics
Maintain a clean, safe care environment and adhere to infection control practices
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver excellent patient outcomes

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (Hawaii certification preferred or able to obtain)
Active CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain prior to start
Comfortable working in an acute care setting and handling fast-paced situations
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings/immunizations
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED and completion of an approved CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing care and acute care patient needs
Skilled in taking and reporting accurate vital signs
Proficient with clinical documentation and following care plans
Familiarity with infection control standards and patient safety protocols
Ability to work calmly under pressure and prioritize patient needs
