Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents as a trusted CNA
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nurse in charge
• Support the care team by following care plans and documenting resident observations
• Help create a safe, clean and comfortable environment for residents
• Communicate respectfully with residents, families and team members to enhance resident wellbeing

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (Pennsylvania or eligible for reciprocity)
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening as required by facility
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach
• Reliable, punctual, and able to pass background and health screenings

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Familiarity with basic nursing techniques and infection control practices
• Comfortable assisting with ADLs and safe resident transfers
• Accurate charting and attention to detail
• Ability to work as part of a fast-paced care team
• Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
