Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Take and accurately record vital signs and observe changes in patient condition
• Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and safe positioning
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
• Communicate patient needs and any changes promptly to nursing staff
• Document care and observations clearly in patient records
• Support a positive patient experience through respectful, patient-centered interactions

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification valid in Pennsylvania
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen as required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
• Physical ability to assist with patient transfers and perform essential duties safely
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively with a care team

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA program and current state certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) and basic patient care
• Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
• Infection control practices and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Basic documentation and charting skills; attention to detail
• Teamwork and clear communication with nursing and support staff
