Shift Type: 8-hour shift; specific start/end times and days to be confirmed (8 hours per shift)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility with compassion and dignity
Provide safe and attentive hands-on care while following care plans and nursing direction
Observe and report changes in resident condition promptly to nursing staff
Support mealtime assistance and ensure residents’ nutritional needs are met
Document care accurately and timely in resident records to maintain continuity
Practice proper infection control and safety procedures to protect residents and staff
Build meaningful relationships with residents and families, offering emotional support and respect

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential — Connecticut certification required
Current CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain)
Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on resident care and ADL support
Basic vital signs and observation of clinical changes
Infection control best practices and PPE use
Accurate documentation and time management
Team communication with nurses, therapists, and support staff
