Location: Lancaster, Pennsylvania

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
Measure and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
Support nursing staff by preparing patients and supplies for procedures
Maintain clear, timely documentation and communicate patient concerns
Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and team
Build rapport with patients and families to create a comforting care environment

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification valid in Pennsylvania
Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or obtainable at hire
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Demonstrated compassion, reliability, and strong teamwork skills
Prior experience in long-term care or acute care settings is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed state-approved CNA training program and certification

Knowledge & Skills

Patient hygiene and mobility assistance
Taking and recording vital signs accurately
Basic infection control practices and PPE use
Clear verbal and written communication with clinical teams
Time management and dependable attendance
Comfortable using electronic charting or documentation systems
