Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist with life-saving procedures and provide vital diagnostic support through precise organ and body scans
• Prepare and expertly position patients while selecting perfect anatomic and technical parameters
• Safely administer contrast media and medications following all regulations
• Monitor patients closely during procedures and report any concerns promptly
• Champion radiation safety procedures and guidelines every step of the way
• Master specialized imaging like angio, complex vascular, nonvascular interventional, and therapeutic procedures while supporting Radiologists and PAs
• Ensure every activity meets top regulatory standards for outstanding patient care

Qualifications

• Hold active BLS Provider certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Cardiographic Tech credential from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
• Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography, any specialty accepted
• Illinois Emergency Mgmt Agency Radiology Tech licensure paired with ARRT
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CCI) preferred for top candidates

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 1-2 years cumulative experience, OR Associate's/Technical degree, OR 4 years applicable job-specific experience

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in assisting with cath lab procedures and diagnostic scans
• Skilled in patient preparation, positioning, and protocol monitoring
• Proficient in contrast media administration and radiation safety
• Experienced with advanced imaging including angio and interventional techniques
