Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding)
Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team promptly
Support safe patient transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and visitors
Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
Document care accurately and timely in the facility’s charting system

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Active ability to work in Pennsylvania (state certification preferred)
Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
Pass background check and required immunizations
Strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and a patient-first attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an approved CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamental nursing assistant skills and hands-on patient care
Basic knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
Familiarity with electronic charting or willingness to learn
Teamwork, time management, and effective communication
