Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care including bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
- Assist with activities of daily living while promoting patient dignity and independence
- Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect patients and yourself
- Maintain clear, timely documentation of patient care and observations
- Communicate effectively with nurses, families, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification (expected to be valid for work in Pennsylvania)
- Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Ability to provide safe patient care and follow facility protocols
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Available to start on or around 2026-04-03
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completed state-approved CNA training program and certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic clinical skills: vital signs, ADLs, patient hygiene and mobility support
- Accurate documentation and charting habits
- Infection control and safety best practices
- Patient-centered care and strong interpersonal skills
- Team collaboration and following care plans
