Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic exams across all body parts with professionalism and attention to radiation safety
• Operate CT and X-ray equipment, including image acquisition and contrast administration where appropriate
• Assist with interventional CT procedures and prepare procedural equipment and patients
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation for quality assurance
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to consult on imaging needs and protocols
• Support department quality assurance activities and participate in routine QC tasks
• Provide compassionate patient care across the lifespan — from newborns to geriatric patients
• Rotate through assigned shifts, assist with call coverage, and step into leadership responsibilities in a supervisor's absence

Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification in Radiography (required)
• Clinical competency to be achieved within 3 months of hire and maintained every three years
• Ability to perform diagnostic exams related to assigned modality
• Comfortable working across at least two imaging modalities (e.g., XR, CT, MRI, Mammography)
• Willingness to take call and respond promptly (as required by department)
• Familiarity with sterile technique, venipuncture, and contrast administration is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven skills in diagnostic medical radiography and image acquisition
• Strong understanding of radiation protection principles and patient safety
• Experience with CT imaging and interventional procedures
• Comfortable with teleradiology transmission and basic QC procedures
• Ability to adapt protocols for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Good communication and customer service skills; culturally sensitive care
