Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform CT and MRI exams accurately and safely, following established protocols
• Acquire high-quality diagnostic images while prioritizing patient comfort and safety
• Practice radiation safety and adhere to ALARA principles at all times
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment; troubleshoot basic issues and escalate to service engineers when needed
• Maintain accurate patient records in the EHR and ensure proper charge capture for procedures
• Educate patients clearly about procedures and equipment to ensure understanding and cooperation
• Assist and cross-train with other imaging modalities such as DEXA and Mammography when required
• Contribute to departmental quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and a positive patient experience

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
• ARRT registration in Radiology (R) with CT and MRI credentials required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or must obtain within 90 days of hire
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to pass a background check, pre-employment drug screen, and any required health clearances
• Preferred: Minimum two years’ experience as a practicing Radiologic Technologist with CT and MRI experience
• Preferred: Cross-training experience in DEXA, Mammography, OR, and Fluoroscopy/C-arm

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with CT, MRI, Radiography (X-ray), and Fluoroscopy including C-arm operations
• Experience with PACS, RIS/HIS, and EHR systems for image management and documentation
• Strong understanding of radiation safety and ALARA principles
• Skilled in patient education, positioning, and delivering compassionate care
• Equipment troubleshooting and basic maintenance awareness
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and support team workflows
• Effective verbal and written communication with patients, clinicians, and vendors
