Roles & Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage OR circulation duties to ensure smooth, efficient cases
• Prepare the operating room and necessary supplies for a variety of surgical specialties
• Anticipate surgeon and team needs during procedures and respond proactively
• Maintain sterile field and uphold strict infection prevention standards
• Advocate for patient safety and comfort before, during, and after surgery
• Communicate clearly with surgical team members, anesthesia, and ancillary staff to keep cases on track
• Document intraoperative events and instrument counts accurately and timely

Qualifications

• Peri-Op 101 Certification (required)
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (required)
• CNOR certification (preferred)
• Demonstrated independence in service lines: Urology, Vascular, Orthopedics, Pain management, Spine, Eyes, and Plastics
• Current, valid licensure as required by the facility (verify state requirements before applying)
• Ability to work variable start/stop times on weekdays and adapt to case flow

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in OR circulation and perioperative workflows
• Comfortable supporting a wide range of surgical specialties listed above
• Strong sterile technique, instrument handling, and case preparation skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork in high-paced surgical environments
• Adaptability to variable case schedules and changing priorities
