Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality clinical treatment services including individual, group, and family psychotherapy within your credentialed scope
• Deliver emergency mental health services, information, and referral support when clients need immediate help
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and document care in compliance with agency policy
• Consult with staff and community partners to coordinate services and improve client outcomes
• Offer consumer support services, community education, and outreach to strengthen local mental health resources
• Work with special populations (children, elderly, developmental disabilities, minorities, hearing impaired) as qualified under WAC 246-341-0515
• Exercise sound clinical judgment and operate with minimal supervision while maintaining strong communication with supervisory staff

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in behavioral science, nursing science, social work, or a related field from an accredited college or university
• Active Washington State licensure as an LMHC, LMFT, LICSW, or MHP
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience providing treatment to consumers in a relevant program area
• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health therapeutic techniques and direct client service delivery
• Ability to meet WAC 246-341-0515 requirements for additional specialties to serve special populations
• Strong judgment, documentation skills, and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision

Education

• Master’s degree in behavioral science, nursing science, social work, or related field (accredited)

• Individual, group, and family psychotherapy skills
• Crisis intervention and emergency services delivery
• Community mental health knowledge and the ability to provide outreach and education
• Information and referral processes and consumer support services
• Consultation skills to support staff and cross-disciplinary teams
• Familiarity with WAC 246-341-0515 compliance and documentation expectations
• Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and client-centered communication skills
