Roles & Responsibilities

• Circulate in the Cardiac Cath Lab during procedures, ensuring patient safety and procedure flow
• Administer and monitor moderate sedation per unit protocols while maintaining patient comfort
• Support physicians and the sterile team during LHC, RHC, TAVR, TEER and other advanced cardiac procedures
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment (Philips and Siemens) and assist with documentation in Merge
• Prepare patients and equipment, verify imaging orders, and ensure accurate radiographic technique
• Respond to emergencies using ACLS and BLS skills and participate in unit call rotations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification (required)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (required)
• Experience circulating in a Cardiac Cath Lab and providing moderate sedation (must-have)
• Minimum 1 year of relevant clinical experience (as stated)
• Comfortable with Merge documentation system (preferred)
• Familiarity with cardiac procedures such as LHC, RHC, TAVR, TEER, EP, Impella, ECMO, ICD/PPM and peripheral interventions

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong procedural awareness and aseptic technique in the Cath Lab
• Skilled in patient monitoring during moderate sedation and advanced cardiac procedures
• Proficiency with Philips and Siemens imaging systems
• Experience with Merge documentation and electronic charting
• Ability to anticipate clinician needs and manage equipment setup efficiently
• Excellent communication and teamwork in fast-paced procedural settings
• Comfortable handling urgent situations and responding with ACLS/BLS protocols
