Shift Type: Day shift, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM; primarily day coverage with some scheduled Saturday cases. Night coverage is on-call (night shift staff are 3 on-call); on-call requirement at least 12 shifts/month.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and the Cath Lab team during catheterization and interventional procedures with focus and precision
• Prepare and operate imaging equipment (Philips and Siemens) and ensure proper functioning before cases
• Set up and manage procedure-specific supplies for PVI, PPM, EPS, LHC, PCI, IR, and neuro cases
• Document care and procedure details accurately in Meditech and MacLab to support continuity of care
• Collaborate with nurses and techs to maintain patient safety, sterile technique, and efficient workflow
• Respond promptly to on-call activations and emergent cases with calm and competence
• Mentor and educate junior staff and students to strengthen the unit and foster teamwork

Qualifications

• ARRT (required)
• RCIS (required) — panning x-ray table experience noted
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab or interventional experience
• Experience with catheterization procedures and interventional cases (PVI, PPM, EPS, LHC, PCI, IR) preferred
• EP and neuro experience are nice-to-have and will be considered

Education

• Not specified (required certifications: ARRT, RCIS, BLS, ACLS)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven competence in Cardiac Cath Lab workflows and interventional procedures
• Familiarity with Philips and Siemens imaging systems
• Comfortable using Meditech and MacLab electronic medical records
• Strong sterile technique and procedural setup skills
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and ability to teach/mentor junior staff
• Ability to perform under pressure during emergent and on-call situations
