Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency care to patients of all ages
Perform thorough assessments, prioritize interventions, and collaborate with the ED team
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Document patient care clearly and communicate changes to providers
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up
Act swiftly in high-pressure situations while maintaining patient safety and dignity

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California or compact RN privileges as applicable
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and PALS preferred or obtainable upon hire
Previous emergency department or acute care experience preferred
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and triage skills in emergency settings
Familiarity with ED workflows, triage, and emergency protocols
Proficient in medication administration and IV therapy
Comfortable with electronic medical records and timely documentation
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and make sound clinical judgments under pressure
