Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and toileting assistance
Assist with safe patient transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
Perform basic clinical tasks such as taking vital signs and documenting findings accurately
Ensure patient rooms and care areas are clean, comfortable, and safe
Support patients’ emotional needs through respectful, patient-centered communication
Follow infection control procedures and facility policies to maintain a safe environment

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of California
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable working overnight shifts and providing hands-on patient care
Ability to pass background check and any required health screenings
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Reliable transportation to get to shifts as scheduled

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamental patient care skills and familiarity with ADLs (activities of daily living)
Basic clinical documentation and charting
Infection control practices and safe patient handling
Ability to follow care plans and report changes clearly
Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
