Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess and triage patients in the emergency department quickly and accurately
Deliver high-quality nursing care including medication administration and IV therapy
Collaborate with physicians, techs, and support staff to coordinate patient care
Document patient status and interventions clearly in the electronic health record
Provide patient and family education with compassion and clarity
Respond to emergencies and acute changes in patient condition with confidence

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in California required
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) preferred
Previous emergency department nursing experience preferred
Strong IV skills and comfort with urgent care procedures
Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Triage and emergency assessment
IV insertion and medication administration
Cardiac monitoring and basic arrhythmia recognition
Electronic health record documentation
Calm, efficient workflow in high-acuity environments
Clear, compassionate patient and family communication
