Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with daily living activities
Monitor patients and report changes in condition to the nursing team promptly
Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and positioning according to care plans
Support hygiene, dressing, feeding, and toileting while preserving dignity
Document care activities accurately and communicate effectively with the care team
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices
Build trusting relationships with patients and families through respectful interactions

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification in the state of California
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Demonstrated experience providing direct patient care, preferred
Ability to work overnight shifts and adapt to per diem scheduling
Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening as required by facility

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable with basic clinical tasks such as vital signs, ADLs, and patient transfers
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Attention to detail for accurate documentation
Ability to follow care plans and facility protocols
Empathy and patience when working with diverse patient populations
