Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate bedside care and assist patients with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs and observe patients for any changes in condition
Assist with safe transfers and mobility, ensuring patient comfort and dignity
Document care actions accurately and communicate changes to the nursing team
Support infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe environment
Collaborate with nurses and clinicians to deliver consistent, patient-centered care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
Valid CNA authorization to practice in California
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-first attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; active CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Practical knowledge of patient care standards and ADL assistance
Proficient in taking vitals, documenting observations, and reporting changes
Comfortable with safe patient handling and mobility assistance
Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively with clinical teams
Good time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
