Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
Take and record vital signs accurately and report any concerns to nursing staff
Assist with activities of daily living to preserve patient dignity and comfort
Support nursing team in turning, positioning, and safe patient transfers
Maintain clear, timely documentation of care and observations
Follow infection control procedures and contribute to a safe clinical environment

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
Comfortable working overnight hours and providing direct patient care
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Previous experience in a long-term care or acute setting is a plus

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Patient handling and safe transfer techniques
Basic clinical skills: vital signs, feeding, ambulation support
Infection prevention and standard precautions
Accurate charting and clear communication with interdisciplinary team
Time management and ability to prioritize patient needs
Compassionate bedside manner and de-escalation techniques
