Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, patient-centered critical care in the ICU setting
Assess, monitor, and respond to changes in patient condition with skill and compassion
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
Administer medications, manage ventilators, and perform advanced nursing interventions
Document patient care accurately and communicate handoffs clearly
Educate patients and families about care plans and provide emotional support during stressful times
Participate in unit-based performance improvement and safety initiatives

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license for California
ICU clinical experience preferred; ability to work independently in high-acuity settings
Current BLS required; ACLS preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts and providing critical care
Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN/BSN). BSN preferred.

Knowledge & Skills

Critical care assessment and monitoring
Familiarity with ventilator management and advanced cardiac monitoring
Medication administration and IV therapy expertise
Effective communication and multidisciplinary collaboration
Basic EMR navigation and clinical documentation skills
Ability to prioritize in fast-paced, high-acuity environments
