Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living
Take and report vital signs and observe changes in patient condition
Assist nursing staff with safe patient transfers and ambulation
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations
Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and team members
Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, families, and the care team

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification valid in California (required)
Comfortable working 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) on per-diem assignments
Ability to pass facility-required background and health screenings
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Education

Completion of an accredited CNA training program and high school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in basic patient care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Knowledge of safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Familiarity with charting/documentation and reporting changes to nursing staff
Understanding of infection control, safety protocols, and patient privacy
Compassionate bedside manner and ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting
