Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess and triage patients quickly and accurately in a high-acuity ER setting
Provide evidence-based nursing care, including medication administration and wound care
Initiate and manage emergency interventions in collaboration with the care team
Maintain clear, timely documentation in the patient record system
Communicate effectively with physicians, specialists, and families to coordinate care
Monitor patient status, recognize changes, and escalate concerns promptly
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and uphold safety protocols

Qualifications

Active RN license (California) — must be able to practice in CA
Experience in Emergency Room nursing or equivalent high-acuity experience
BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts and overnight assignments
Current immunizations and ability to pass background and drug screening
Excellent assessment, prioritization, and teamwork skills

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong triage and emergency assessment skills
IV therapy, phlebotomy, and medication administration proficiency
Familiarity with emergency protocols and rapid response procedures
Comfortable with electronic health records (EHR) charting
Excellent communication, critical thinking, and time management
