Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform fluoroscopy procedures and routine/portable radiography with precision and patient-focused care
• Operate advanced imaging equipment including O-ARM, C-Arm, GE and Philips systems
• Prepare and administer contrast media per protocol and ensure patient safety during exams
• Maintain PACS images and accurate charting in the facility’s documentation systems
• Uphold radiation safety standards and infection prevention protocols, including PPE and isolation precautions
• Support trauma, ER, OR and bedside imaging needs with calm, efficient teamwork
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (IV, respiratory, PT, pharmacy, etc.) to optimize patient care
• Mentor and support colleagues when needed and contribute to a positive learning environment

Qualifications

• Travel experience required — comfortable working in new clinical environments
• Minimum 1 year of clinical radiography experience
• ARRT(R) registry preferred and California CRT preferred (as noted in facility guidance)
• BLS certification preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred and experience in teaching or community hospital settings a plus
• Comfortable with trauma Level I/II cases and mobile/surgical imaging
• Ability to perform and document a wide range of fluoroscopic studies (arthrography, ERCP, myelography, upper GI, enema studies)

Education

• ARRT(R) certification or equivalent radiography credential (preferred)
• California CRT licensure (preferred)
• BLS certification (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Fluoroscopy and portable radiography expertise
• Proficiency with PACS and digital image management
• Experience with O-ARM and C-Arm procedures
• Contrast media preparation and administration
• Strong radiation safety and infection prevention practices
• Familiarity with adult and pediatric imaging in ED, ICU, OR, and bedside settings
• Skilled in a wide range of studies: abdominal, chest, spine, extremities, GI series and specialized fluoroscopy exams
