Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate Siemens Naeotom Alpha and other CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Prepare and comfort adult and geriatric patients, clearly explaining procedures and safety measures
• Review images for quality and follow CT protocols to ensure diagnostic accuracy
• Administer contrast media and start peripheral IVs when required, following safety guidelines
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure equipment functionality through routine checks
• Adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and isolation precautions at all times
• Collaborate with radiologists, IV teams, pharmacy, respiratory services and rapid response teams for coordinated patient care
• Manage a high-volume workflow efficiently—supporting approximately 18-20 scans per 8-hour period

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology
• ARRT certification in CT and valid state radiologic technologist licensure
• Minimum 3 years of CT Technologist experience
• BLS required; ACLS preferred
• Experience with adult acute care, outpatient, and ICU settings preferred
• Travel assignment experience required
• Strong technical proficiency with CT imaging procedures and protocols

Education

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology

Knowledge & Skills

• CT equipment operation and image quality review
• CT protocols for cardiac, vascular, abdomen, head/neck and pelvis imaging
• Contrast administration and peripheral IV insertion
• Radiation safety and infection control practices
• Post-processing skills including multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) and ROI measurement
• Familiarity with Siemens CT systems, including Naeotom Alpha
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and collaborate across disciplines
