Roles & Responsibilities

• Room patients efficiently and compassionately, taking accurate vital signs and histories
• Prepare exam rooms and assist clinicians with outpatient oncology procedures
• Perform specimen collection and proper labeling (urine, throat swabs, venipuncture)
• Administer injections and immunizations when authorized and documented
• Document all care clearly in Epic—charting is required and central to the role
• Conduct telephone triage and follow-up calls, coordinating pharmacy refill requests
• Perform routine office duties such as hearing/vision screenings and glucometer checks
• Support patient care continuity through accurate recording of medications and allergies
• Assist with TB test administration and suture removal as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in an adult outpatient clinic setting
• Proven experience with Epic or similar electronic health record systems (charting required)
• Competence in venipuncture, specimen collection, and basic lab testing
• Experience with injections/immunizations and Nebulizer treatments
• BLS certification preferred
• Strong communication skills for telephone triage and patient follow-up
